Update: Free Breakfast and Lunch for students continues for the 2024-2025 school year!
All Morrisonville Students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) process.
An important feature for the new CEP program to be financially successful is that our participation increases from last year. Morrisonville School District is no longer using a third-party vender to provide breakfast and lunch to the students. The school district now operates their own cafeteria. One of our goals this year was to provide a high-quality breakfast and lunch program. I believe that the early results have been positive. I am encouraging every student to take advantage of this FREE opportunity.
It is still very important that parents still fill out free and reduced forms when needed. The number of free and reduced participants determines eligibility for our district. Another very important reason to fill out the free and reduced lunch forms is that all fees are waived if the students qualify.
This program has a retroactive start date back to the beginning of the school year. This means that if you have paid for breakfast or lunch up until this point, this money will be put towards a credit into your child's account. This credit can be used for ala carte items for high school and junior high students. This money can also be credited for book and school fees. Another option would be to contact the district office to start the refund process.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office.
